Ashlee Simpson wil niet in de Playboy. De zangeres heeft het verzoek om naakt te poseren in het blad afgeslagen. Dat heeft een woordvoerder van Simpson bevestigd tegenover de Amerikaanse website TMZ. Volgens een bron bij de site heeft Playboy vier miljoen dollar (3,2 miljoen euro) geboden voor de fotosessie.
 Het zusje van Jessica Simpson is op dit moment bezig met een tournee om haar album 'I am me' te promoten. In 2004 brak de 21-jarige zangeres door met het album 'Autobiography'. Ze speelde verder in films als 'The hot chick' en 'Undiscovered'.

Ashlee Simpson wordt het nieuwe model voor het lingeriemerk Victoria's Secret. Het gaat om de nieuwe lijn, Pink. Dit meldt de Amerikaanse krant New York Daily News.
 De zangeres werd volgens de krant door Victoria's Secret verkozen boven de Amerikaanse Idols-winnares uit 2002, Kelly Clarkson, die ook een gegadigde was om het gezicht te worden voor de nieuwe lingerielijn.
